History

The Croatia national football team (Croatian: Hrvatska nogometna reprezentacija) represents Croatia in international football matches. The team is controlled by the Croatian Football Federation (CFF), which is part of UEFA and FIFA.

Croatia has competed in the FIFA World Cup five times, reaching the semi-finals in 2018. The team has also competed in the UEFA European Championship six times, reaching the quarter-finals in 2008 and 2020.

Recent results

Croatia's most recent match was a 3-0 loss to Argentina in the semi-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup. The team's other four matches in the tournament were all draws, including a penalty shootout victory over Japan in the round of 16.
