France Kick Off Euro 2024 Qualifiers with a Win

Mbappe Nets First Goals as Captain

France began their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign with a victory, courtesy of goals from their new captain Kylian Mbappe.

In their first match since the World Cup final, France looked sharp and determined. Mbappe opened the scoring with a penalty in the first half, before adding a second goal in the second half.

The victory puts France top of their qualifying group, ahead of Poland and Austria, who drew their match earlier in the day.
