Daniel and Sam: Father-Daughter Bonding
In this episode, Daniel spends some quality father-daughter time with a traumatized Sam. Sam is still struggling with the aftermath of her fight with Tory in the previous episode, and Daniel is determined to help her heal. They go on a hike together, and Daniel shares some of his own experiences of being bullied.
Johnny's New Karate
Meanwhile, Johnny is planning to form a new karate dojo. He's still struggling to come up with a cool name for it, but he's determined to make it a success. He recruits some of his old students from Cobra Kai, including Miguel and Hawk. But things don't go as smoothly as he had hoped.
"Obstaculos"
The episode is titled "Obstaculos," which is Spanish for "obstacles." And there are plenty of obstacles in this episode for both Daniel and Johnny. Daniel is trying to help Sam overcome her trauma, while Johnny is trying to get his new dojo off the ground.
But despite the challenges, both Daniel and Johnny are determined to succeed. They're both passionate about karate, and they both want to make a difference in the lives of their students.
